I am a newcomer to bioinformatics, but loving learning about it so far. I am very active in the open source community and I work on the Fedora Engineering team at Red Hat, Inc. I am attending Youngstown State University where I am dual-majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. Along with teaching myself bioinformatics, I am also teaching myself category theory and type theory. I seem to write a lot of Haskell code, and I enjoy it a lot.
